There is something called "restore system "that could work. A description of what is and use can be found in" Help and Support "to open the Start menu account. It's too complicated to explain here, but basically you can set your computer to a restore point before the problem started. But everything else it may have your machine after the restore point will also be deleted. Your description of what is wrong is so confusing that not make much sense. You mention both XP and Vista in the same sentence, and what is this gay computer screen you are talking about?.
